Born and bred in Sheffield and with family roots in Zambia, Precious Pepala is quicklybecoming one of the industry's most exciting breakthrough artists. Her music is a blend of
alternative pop/rock with hints of soul/gospel drawn from her years growing up in church as a
pastor's daughter. Addressing important topics such as mental health and religious trauma,
Precious uses her lyrics and music to push big conversations. Being a 21 year old, black,
female artist who stands at just 5 feet tall she is, in her own words, “not the stereotypical
face of power or change”. However, thanks to her vocal power, songwriting talent and ever-
growing social media presence, she is quickly becoming a voice for her generation and will
undoubtedly continue to push the boundaries.
