Join this safe, supportive space for expectant and new parents to move and breathe, while preparing for birth and the changing needs of pregnancy.

- Time: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
- Special note: Yoga mats and mats for babies provided, we suggest a blanket for babies for extra comfort.
Feel more comfortable and confident during and after your pregnancy. Alleviate common discomforts such as swelling, back pain, and varicose veins. An emphasis is placed on soothing, relaxing breath work and meditation. Classes are for women at all stages of pregnancy and post-delivery.

About the Program
This class is offered in collaboration with LIFitMoms & LIFitKids, a long-standing wellness organization that has been providing fitness and family-focused services since 2006. Through programs such as LIFitMoms, LIFitKids, and LIFitFamily, their mission is to LIFT moms, kids, and families by creating lifelong memories, encouraging lifestyle design changes, and making fitness fun every day.

Instructor Bio:
Carmen Carriker is a dancer, actress, and educator who has spent more than 25 years inspiring others through movement. A graduate of the Fordham University Alvin Ailey BFA program, she has performed on stage and screen while also dedicating her talents to teaching children and families in schools, cultural programs, and community outreach projects. Her work with organizations such as Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy, NIA Community Outreach, and the Brooklyn Children’s Museum reflects her passion for making the arts and wellness accessible to all. In addition to her dance career, Carmen is a certified yoga and fitness instructor, specializing in Kemetic Yoga, Prenatal Pilates, group dance fitness, and Kukuwa African Dance. She has led programs for colleges, community groups, and family wellness events nationwide, blending movement with mindfulness to support whole-person health. As the founder of Crown Soul Yoga, she creates workshops that empower both kids and adults to find balance, joy, and strength. Carmen brings her energy, creativity, and holistic approach to LIFitMoms & LIFitKids, where she helps families connect, grow, and thrive together.
