We read the texts themselves:
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. We study all four padas, including the eight limbs and the kleshas in Patanjali’s own words.
The Bhagavad Gita. We study the paths of Karma, Bhakti, and Jnana Yoga.
The Hatha Yoga Pradipika. This is the source of the practices we learn in Unit IV.
The Yoga Vashishtha. We look at how stress in the mind becomes illness in the body.
We also learn the relevant mantra.
