It's that time of year again! I'm inviting all vintage snowmobile enthusiasts to join me for my annual vintage snowmobile ride here at Classic Imported Cars in Augusta, Maine.
We have 200 acres of property with plenty of trails that offer some great vintage sled riding. This is a relaxed, fun day of enjoying our old snowmobiles, sharing stories, and spending time with fellow enthusiasts. This is not a high-speed ride, so bring out those classic machines and enjoy them the way they were meant to be ridden!
We also have direct access to ITS 85, which passes through a corner of our property. Depending on snow and ice conditions, we'll have the opportunity to venture out onto a couple of nearby lakes for some additional riding.
Here's the plan:
-9:30 AM: Start gathering, unloading sleds, and getting ready to ride.
-Morning: Hit the trails and enjoy some vintage snowmobiling.
-Around Noon: We'll provide a simple lunch of hot dogs, chips, coffee, and other drinks.
-Afternoon: Head back out for more riding until everyone has had enough!
Whether you have a beautifully restored vintage sled or an old survivor that's still running strong, we'd love to have you join us.
Of course, everything will depend on Mother Nature cooperating with enough snow and safe riding conditions.
