Prairie Song Alliance is proud to present the Prairie Song Folk Club, which makes its home at Edmonton's historic Bison Lodge. Here, we celebrate the very best of Alberta's music in a beautiful setting that will capture your heart and give you an unforgettable experience.

In March, PSFC welcomes John Hewitt, one of Western Canada's hardest-working troubadours, whose vivid storytelling, compelling songwriting, and engaging stage presence have earned him audiences across the country and beyond. Performing more than 150 shows each year, Hewitt draws on the traditions of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Neil Young while crafting songs that are unmistakably his own, blending folk, rock, and poetic prairie storytelling.

Whether performing solo or with his band, The New Americans, Hewitt delivers performances filled with rich harmonies, sharp lyrics, and disarming humour. It's an evening of heartfelt songs, memorable stories, and the kind of authentic connection that defines great folk music.

Warming up the stage for John will be Addison Wall.

Addison Wall is an Edmonton-based singer-songwriter whose music draws equally from early swing and blues, folk storytelling, and modern roots music. Blending timeless influences with a distinctly original voice, he crafts songs that are both inventive and deeply engaging.

Known for his sharp lyricism and wry sense of humour, Addison's performances move effortlessly between satirical storytelling, thoughtful reflection, and unexpected musical turns, marking him as one of Edmonton's exciting emerging artists.
