After years of exposure in the dialpainting studio, Grace Fryer and her friends begin to unravel their mysterious illness: radium poisoning from the excess luminous paint they were instructed to lick off the brush. What did the US Radium Corporation know and when did they know it? Who is responsible for the health and safety of the factory employees? Will the girls receive any compensation? Will they live long enough to see it? Radium Girls is the true story of one woman who stood up to her bosses.
Radium Girls performs Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 at 7:00 in the PHS Theatre. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Activity passes are not accepted. Get your tickets on Bound starting November 1 or at the door!
