OVERNIGHT BUS TRIP TO SCRAPMANIA IN CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWAJoin me on an Overnight Bus Trip to Scrapmania, a 13,600 square scrapbook store full of crafty goodness, on November 14-15, 2026. The bus will depart from Boone County Fairgrounds Saturday morning promptly at 7:30am (please arrive by 7:15am). You’ll have lunch at the store upon arrival and have approximately 4 hours to shop before the bus takes the entire group to the Best Western Plus Longbranch hotel for an overnight stay. Dinner will be at El Viejo, the onsite restaurant at the hotel, and a dinner voucher with a value up to $15 is included for you to dine at your leisure. Breakfast is provided at the hotel on Sunday morning, then the bus will take the group to Scrapmania for a couple more hours of shopping before we head back to Indiana. A box lunch will be served on the bus. We will arrive back to Boone County Fairgrounds at approximately 6:30pm on Sunday.
This trip is priced “all in,” so all you will need after paying for the bus trip is some $$ for shopping at Scrapmania. The price is $235-$330 per person (all attendees must be 16 or older), depending on how many people are sharing your room at the hotel (per person: single/$330, double/$265, triple/$245, quad/$235). We need at least 40 people for this trip to go forward. Included in this rate is:
* Motor coach transportation
* Parking at Boone County Fairgrounds, 1300 E 100 S, Lebanon, IN (Exit 138 off I-65)
* Games and prizes (Scrapmania shopping bucks) on the bus
* Lunch upon arrival at Scrapmania
* Dinner Voucher to El Viejo (up to $15 value), the onsite restaurant at hotel, for you to dine at your leisure
* Hotel stay with breakfast included
* Box lunch on the bus on the way home Sunday
* Bus driver gratuity
* Goodie bags valued at $50 provided by Scrapmania
A $50 deposit will be needed to hold your place on the bus with the balance due by August 31, 2026. Please fill out this registration form: https://forms.gle/aSD5rRsq7nLcU4xt7 then send your $50 deposit via Venmo (DO NOT SWITCH ON “TURN ON FOR PURCHASES”) or Paypal (FRIENDS AND FAMILY ONLY) - addresses in registration form. If you use one of the options that triggers a fee, the fee will be added to your final payment. Most of you know me or have friends that know me and this helps keep the cost of the trip down. All payments are non-refundable* unless you can find someone to take your place or I am able to fill the seat with someone from the waitlist.
*In the event the bus trip is canceled because we do not have enough people registered, your deposit and any other payments will be refunded.
*If there is a weather event that causes it to be unsafe to travel, the trip will be rescheduled to a later date (most likely in spring 2027).
