About this Event
Join archivists and science librarians from Vanderbilt University in this interactive lecture, workshop and pop-up exhibit on the history of magic and spells in society and culture. The evening will begin with a lecture on the rare books and manuscripts in Vanderbilt's collection that focus on witchcraft, and then librarians will lead attendees in a spell jar workshop. Each registrant will be provided with supplies and a choice of magic recipes for their spell jar. A pop-up exhibit will also be available for exploration throughout the evening. Light snacks and drinks provided.
This event is free and open to the public, but you must register in order to get spell jar supplies. Limited spots available!
