Power Up Gets Creative!

Creativity is a great way to express yourself and feel well! Meeting people while learning new things can also be a great equaliser and confidence boost. Our weekly creative wellbeing group is designed for young people looking to learn new creative skills to express themselves with the support from instructors and our wellbeing team!

We will cover a variety of different activities over the year but each will be under full instruction from a Lark Design Make resident Tutor - check the agenda for details on each session!

So get ready get creative, meet other young people in the area and learn new skills! - this group is also supported by fully trained and DBS checked wellbeing workers who are happy to help young people get comfortable in a new environment!

Support to finance and arrange transport can be discussed.

PLEASE NOTE:

Signing up gives you access to one session at a time - so if you want to go every week, you need to make sure to sign up each time - that way we can make sure to work around YOUR schedule :)

We will need to gain parental/guardian consent for young people under 18.

Info: Make a colourful clock using vinyl stickers, you will be cutting out the sticker sheets by hand to create any design you like, at the end a clock mechanism will be added ready to take home.

Info: Come and decorate a cute shell with decoupache in your own style! Perfect for home decor and learning how to do decoupache before tackling bigger projects!

Info: Come and try out our fab mini knitting machines: after a simple set up, you simply turn the handle and knitted rope appears! This rope can then be used to create fashionable bows and flowers.

Info: Join us for a creative hour of painting where you will create a firework scene on canvas using a combination of paints and paint markers.

Info: Join us for a relaxing crafting session: these macrame leaves are actually quite easy to make once you get the simple process! There will be over 20 colours of rope to choose from so you can leave with something really unique and feeling totally zen :)

Info: Join us for a creative hour of painting where you will create an animal silhouette scene on canvas use a combination of paints and paint markers.

Info: Enjoy soap making with the added bonus of our fun spooky moulds and decorations to give your guests a freight this halloween!
