Power of a Dream Sisters Helping Sisters will be having their 8th Annual Black Tie Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at the Akron Women’s City Club located at 732 W. Exchange St., Akron OH 44302. The theme is “I Survived to Win”. The keynote speaker is Elder Tia Payne, CA - CEO/Founder and Survivor Leader, Legacy 31. Tickets for this event are $75.00 per person. Checks can be mailed to Power of a Dream, P.O. Box 8037, Akron OH 44320. Proceeds from this fundraiser goes toward operations and programming. We empower victims of domestic violence by bringing back self-respect educationally, emotionally, financially, mentally, physically, spiritually, and verbally.
