Join us for an evening of potato printing with artist Margrethe Aanestad! Potato printing is a fun, easy craft that involves carving a simple shape into the flat surface of a freshly cut potato, pressing the homemade stamp into paint and then creating repeated patterns on paper or fabric. After learning about the technique, we’ll experiment and create our own artworks. This workshop is part of "Carved & Pressed," a 3-session series focused on printmaking using various mediums; the class may be experienced individually or as part of a progression, with 3-session bundles available.
All materials are provided. No prior experience is required. (18+)
