The weeks and months after a baby arrives can be tender, beautiful, and lonelier than anyone warns you. When I return to the clinic this September, I want to open our space once a month to postpartum mamas — a free hour to sit together and be in the company of others who are in it too. There’s no agenda and nothing to prepare. Come as you are — pre-crawling babies are warmly welcome. I’ll have a cup of a nourishing herbal formula waiting for you, one traditionally used to build blood and qi in the postpartum season.
Each month I’ll offer a short reflection on postpartum recovery through the lens of Chinese medicine — rest, nourishment, and the body’s own wisdom — and then the time is ours. As a mama of a toddler and a newborn myself, this is a season I know from the inside. I’d love to share it with you. Free, but space is limited — please RSVP.
