About this Event
Request to join UAL's Postgraduate Research Students Support Group.
Please use your UAL email address to sign up for this group.
This event is for currently enrolled UAL students only.
All students will need to meet with a facilitator for an assessment to explore your circumstances. We cannot offer a place in the support group until you have attended an assessment.
A facilitated confidential space for postgraduate research students to connect, reflect and develop peer support. Research degrees present an incredible opportunity for growth and challenge.
It is a rewarding intellectual experience that leads to becoming a recognised expert in your field.
Few experiences combine the level of intensity and longevity required and the challenges can, at times, feel insurmountable.
Not everyone has a network of support from people who understand the unique demands.
The group is facilitated by a Counsellor, who is a trained/experienced group work facilitator from the Counselling, Health Advice and Chaplaincy Team.
The focus will be led by topics identified by the group on managing the demands of doctoral research and building peer support.
Please contact [email protected] with expressions of interest and for more information by 10th October to join the group this term.
You can also email the group facilitator, Jane, at [email protected] to register your interest in joining the group later in the academic year.
When
