Screening on 35MM. A year after suffering a brutal attack, Dallas housewife Julie Kenner still struggles with adapting back to her former life. After hearing about a woman who was convicted of identity theft, Julie attempts to liberate herself from her baggage by adopting a new identity. A breathtaking tale of mercy, forgiveness, and new beginnings, Positive ID is a standout among 1980s crime/revenge thrillers, and is a true "credit card indie" shot right here in DFW by future UT Arlington film professor Andy Anderson. Texas Theatre is proud to present the official 40th anniversary screening of this unique Texan independent picture on glorious 35MM film alongside as many surviving members of the cast and crew as we can wrangle. Q&A with cast/crew to follow the film.
