Join us Monday, November 9th, at 4:00 PM for a peaceful community picket beginning at the Quay Street parking lot and proceeding on foot to the Port Huron Municipal Building. This demonstration calls for accountability and a larger conversation about how our city handles large-scale public and political events, including resident safety, intimidation, public expression, local media censorship, and the responsibility of our city leadership and institutions to respond to legitimate community concerns. We are demanding transparency, meaningful dialogue, and accountability, not only from those entrusted to represent us, but from the institutions that shape our community's public discourse. Every resident deserves to feel safe, represented, and heard.
When the demonstration is finished, I invite you all to accompany us to the City Council meeting where public comment will be available.
Our voices matter, and silence is not accountability.
