On October 10, we’re bringing a little bit of funk history back to Konocti.
Thirty years ago, in 1996, George Clinton & The P-Funk Allstars performed at Konocti Harbor Resort.
This time, Starchild Jr., son of legendary Parliament-Funkadelic guitarist and musical director Garry Shider, comes to Konocti backed by the Object Heavy band for a night carrying some of that same P-Funk spirit into a new generation.
Joining them is Blu Egyptian, bringing their own high-energy blend of bluegrass, soul, jam and psychedelic rock to the poolside.
And don’t just come for the concert — make an evening out of it.
Come up early, have dinner and drinks at the Konocti Harbor Resort restaurant, enjoy the lake and stick around as the sun goes down and we light up the poolside for the show.
