About this Event
Join us for a fun and hands-on Polish Pierogi Cooking Workshop and discover one of Poland’s best-loved traditional dishes!
Together with our Polish team, you’ll learn how to make pierogi completely from scratch – from preparing and rolling the dough to making the filling, shaping the dumplings and, of course, cooking and tasting them.
But this workshop is about much more than food. Cooking is a wonderful way to bring people together, share traditions and learn about different cultures. Along the way, we’ll share stories, traditions and some fun facts about Polish culture, food and everyday life.
Whether you have made pierogi before or have never even tried them, you are very welcome. No cooking experience is needed – just come ready to learn, cook, chat and have fun!
During the workshop, you will:
- Make traditional pierogi dough from scratch
- Prepare the filling together
- Learn how to shape and cook pierogi
- Discover Polish food traditions and fun cultural facts
- Cook, learn and connect with others in a relaxed atmosphere
- Take some of your handmade pierogi home to enjoy later
All ingredients and cooking equipment will be provided.
Please bring a container with you so you can take your pierogi home after the workshop. 😊
Where are we meeting?
We will meet at Centrala at 10:30am and then walk together to a beautiful kitchen space in Digbeth, approximately 5 minutes away, where the cooking workshop will take place.
