The Preview Sessions
Join Pointe Black for an intimate afternoon of creativity, conversation and connection as we open our studio doors for The Preview Sessions.
For the first time, we're bringing together all three components of our Professional Pathway; the PB Academy, Junior Company and Senior Company, to share new choreography, explore emerging themes and offer a glimpse into the work taking shape behind the scenes.
This is not a traditional performance but a work-in-progress sharing, giving an opportunity to witness Pointe Black's creative process.

Experience new creative work from our Academy, Junior Company and Senior Company artists, showcasing the breadth of talent and development within Pointe Black.
Behind the vision
Hear directly from Pointe Black's Founding Director, Ruth Essel, as she shares the vision behind our ecosystem, how our Professional Pathway supports the next generation of Black ballet artists, and why this work matters.
Conversation and connection
There will be an opportunity to ask questions, gain insight into our creative process and connect more deeply with the work happening at Pointe Black.
An intimate studio experience
With audiences joining us in the studio, The Preview Sessions offers a close-up perspective of the artists and their work, creating a relaxed and personal atmosphere.
Your Ticket Makes a Difference
Tickets are £10, with all proceeds supporting the Pointe Black Access Fund.
Our Access Fund helps us reduce financial barriers to ballet, ensuring more children and young people can access opportunities to train, develop and thrive, regardless of their financial circumstances.
By attending, you're not only celebrating our artists but helping us make ballet more accessible to the next generation.
