The poets will read, respond to one another, and open the floor for audience Q&A.
Antonio Ochoa, born in Mexico City and author of (Nightboat, 2026) as well as two previous collections of poetry, pulsos and El toro de Hiroshima, Ochoa brings work that moves between Spanish and English with striking clarity; he is also host of the podcast Texts For Nothing: Conversations with Poets.
Sara Deniz Akant, a Turkish-American poet, educator, and performer, reads from her acclaimed (Rescue Press, 2022)—a New York Times and Boston Globe book of the year and Massachusetts Book Award winner—alongside selections from her earlier titles.
Light refreshments provided. Free and open to the public. Presented by the Creative Writing Minor in the Humanities Department.
