We’re throwing a poetry workshop on September 24 at Arch Café from 6:30–9:30 PM! ✍🏽✨
Izzy and Reem will be diving into the process of writing a poem — how we approach it, where we start, and how an idea turns into something on the page. We’d also love to hear about your process and the different ways you approach writing!
Then we’ll give everyone some time to write a little something of their own before opening up the floor for an open mic. You can share what you came up with (in Arabic or English!) during the workshop, bring another piece you’ve been wanting to read, or just sit back and listen.

ريم وإيزي رح نحكي عن كتابة قصيدة — بنبدأ منين وكيف فكرة صغيرة ممكن تتحول لقصيدة. وكمان متحمسين نسمع منكم عن طريقتكم في الكتابة والأساليب المختلفة اللي تستخدموها!
بعدها رح نعطيكم شوية وقت تكتبوا قصيدة، وبعد ذلك رح نفتح المايك حتى تشاركونا اللي كتبتوه خلال الورشة (بالعربي أو بالإنجليزي!)، أو جيبوا معكم نص ثاني حابين تقرؤوا
