From springtime stanzas and summer sonnets to autumn anthologies and wintery works, experience a seasonal poetry walk at Crook Hall Gardens.
Enjoy a guided walk around the gardens with poetry inspired by the season, flora in the gardens and the local area. Each walk is about 50 minutes long, with plenty of stops.
This event is free but normal admission applies. No need to book, join in on the day.
Meet at the admissions hut by the entrance.
Please wear sensible footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
This event involves a 50 minute walk with lots of stops. This will only cover a short distance within the gardens. Winding, narrow or uneven paths make some areas inaccessible to wheelchair users. Level access from the car park; from there, access to the main garden area is via an incline.
