About this Event
POCAM Vancouver is hosting it's first ever Community Social event! We're going to hang out at Back and Forth Bar which we will have the whole space reserved to ourselves!
We will have food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), ping pong, arcade games, board games, etc. in a chill environment. I only have a few POCAM updates that I'll run through at the event and other then that you all can spend time forming connections and community with each other!
- Come mingle with other people in the advertising, marketing, and communications space that are interested in diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Bring a friend, play games, chat, and form genuine connections with likeminded individuals.
- Pizza and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks provided in your ticket
- We have limited Early Bird and Bring a Friend tickets available (as low as $17.50 per ticket!)

POCAM stands for People of Colour in Advertising and Marketing, a Canadian non-profit organization founded in 2020. It empowers Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) professionals by advancing equity and inclusion across creative and marketing industries.
POCAM wants to create safe, dedicated networks and mentorship opportunities for BIPOC individuals to connect, exchange insights, and find peer support across Canada.
