The Jimmy Watson Legacy Dinner

Presented by PLUMM and Melbourne Royal, The Jimmy Watson Legacy Dinner brings together ten Jimmy Watson Trophy-winning wines from the past decade for a rare and unrepeatable celebration of Australian wine excellence.
First awarded in 1962, the Jimmy Watson Trophy is one of Australia's most prestigious wine accolades, recognising outstanding young red wines and the winemakers behind them. For one night only, guests will experience a decade of Jimmy Watson-winning excellence in a guided tasting showcasing the diversity and evolution of Australia's great wine regions.
Hosted at Entrecôte, one of Melbourne's most celebrated dining destinations, the evening features a bespoke five-course menu paired with an extraordinary line-up of award-winning wines:

Each wine will be poured in PLUMM THREE collection, designed in collaboration with leading sommeliers to enhance the aroma, flavour and texture of every style of wine. Throughout the evening, guests will discover how thoughtfully designed glassware the shape of each Plumm wine glass can elevate the tasting experience, allowing each wine to be enjoyed at its very best.
Hosted by Dan Sims, Chair of Chair of Wine Victoria, alongside Matt Dunne, PLUMM Ambassador and Sommelier, guests will gain unique insights into the wines, the winemakers and the enduring legacy of the Jimmy Watson Trophy.
