Plumhall are old friends of Uxbridge. Nick Hall and Michelle Plum have appeared here a few times, and are always popular. As well being excellent performers, they are really nice people! Over the last few years they have appeared in a feature film, appeared with Al Stewart.and toured extensively with Fairport Convention, including a river cruise to Portugal.
They both have interesting solo backgrounds, Nick with Ian Prowse and Michelle with Chumbawamba, but its as a duo that they have become established and popular performers. Since September they have been on an extensive tour, mainly in the north, but its great that they can make time for this one gig in the London area.
Dave Artus is well known to many of you as one of the club organisers and our regular MC. But he’s also a fine singer, guitarist and songwriter. He’s also a regular performer locally. He’s appeared in the past on his own, but will be supporting Plumhall in a duo with a fine fiddler, Erica Banks.
