A mother following her heart, a father with the law on his side, a child caught in the middle – an unputdownable debut about a family torn apart by secrets, prejudice and their own best intentions – for fans of Claire Keegan and Louise Kennedy.

Claire will be interviewed by Dr Helen Cullen, a novelist and Reader in Creative Writing at Brunel University. Helen is the author of two novels, The Lost Letters of William Woolf and The Truth Must Dazzle Gradually with her third, Iseult, to be published in February, 2027.
