After Derek left the band, Mike, Dave, and Ernie kept touring with Ben Wilson on bass.
They continued to write, record, and tour at a steady pace for the last 26 years.
In 2008, Dave also pulled away from touring, but continued to record and play the odd show with the MPB. Albums like “8:30 Newfoundland,” “Red and White Blues,” “Born By The Radio,” and “Lonesome Stretch of Highway” continued to add to their story and catalog.
Eventually, Plume added Ryan Barwin (pedal steel), Jeff McLeod (piano), and Jenny Orenstein (guitar and harmonies) to thicken and round out the sound. They were last here for two sold-out nights in January of 2026.
