About this Event
Join me for an intimate and relaxing afternoon at the beautiful La Grange Country Inn in Wakefield, where you’ll learn the basics of mandala dot painting and create your own “Merry & Bright” tealight candle holder.
Inspired by the warmth and sparkle of the holiday season, this palette brings together rich red, soft dusty pink, various shades of greens, and a touch of shimmering gold. A festive yet elegant palette that captures the joy, warmth, and magic of the holidays.
This workshop will build upon skills learned in the previous class, however no experience is necessary. Both verbal and written step-by-step instructions will be provided, and pre-drawn guidelines will make it easy for everyone to create a beautiful piece of art.

The Mindfulness & Mandala Workshop Experience:
When I first started thinking about hosting dot painting workshops, I thought about the type of class I would want to attend.
As someone with a busy life, my ideal event would be cozy, comfortable, and intimate.
No large groups. No loud music. No party atmosphere.
I wanted to create a workshop that felt less like a traditional craft class and more like a little escape — a few hours to slow down, unwind, and enjoy being creative.
That vision is reflected in every part of the Mindfulness & Mandala workshop:
- Small & intimate class sizes - Class sizes are intentionally kept small to create a welcoming environment where you can socialize without feeling overwhelmed. A smaller group also allows me to spend time with everyone and provide one-on-one tips, guidance, and encouragement throughout the workshop.
- Verbal & written instruction - Everyone learns differently, which is why instruction is provided both verbally and in writing. You’ll receive illustrated, step-by-step instructions to follow throughout the workshop, so you can learn at your own pace without having to remember every detail.
- The right tools - I want you to have more than just the bare essentials. Your workstation is thoughtfully set up with a personal lamp, turntable, dotting tools, and more — everything you need to make the dotting process more comfortable, enjoyable, and relaxing.
- A beautiful & unique setting - Located just 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa, Wakefield, Quebec is nestled in the picturesque Gatineau Hills along the Gatineau River. Our workshops take place at La Grange Country Inn, a beautiful post-and-beam country inn with a fascinating history. The original barn dates back to 1898 and has evolved over the years, eventually becoming the charming bed and breakfast it is today. Its warm, character-filled setting provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of creativity and relaxation.
The goal is simple: to create an experience where you can step away from the busyness of everyday life, slow down, get creative, and simply enjoy the moment.
