Join us for a special volunteer workday at Pleasant Garden Cemetery as we prepare for Beneath These Stones, the October 25 performances honoring 12 individuals laid to rest at the cemetery.
During this workday, we will focus on clearing and cleaning the areas around the gravesites of these 12 individuals so their resting places are cared for and ready to be respectfully recognized as part of the upcoming performances.
Volunteers should bring their own tools, including loppers, W**d eaters, and saws. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and work gloves and come prepared for outdoor work.
Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or this will be your first workday, we would be grateful to have you join us.
Come lend a hand as we care for the cemetery, honor those who came before us, and help preserve their stories for generations to come.
No registration required! Volunteers are welcome to simply show up and lend a hand.
