About this Event
On Friday, October 9, Restoration Era and Tonic are teaming up with Denver Parks and Recreation to revegetate and restore the urban forest at Greenway Park in East Denver from 9 am to noon.
Join us as an individual or with your organization for a hands-on day of environmental restoration. Come ready to get your hands dirty—we’ll be planting trees to help strengthen and restore this important local ecosystem!
Fall is an especially valuable time for restoration. Many native species benefit from a dormant winter period, allowing them to establish naturally before sprouting in the spring.
We ask that volunteers please bring their own gloves, water/water bottles, snacks, and wear close toed shoes and clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. We will have extra gloves for anyone who needs them.
Volunteer waivers will be shared through Denver Parks and Recreation the day of the event. More details will be shared closer to the event once you have signed up.

We’re excited to bring this volunteer opportunity to Greenway Park and invite the Denver community to join us in restoring our local environment—one plant, tree, and seed at a time.
