We’re taking our wildly popular Plant & Propagation Swap to the next level with a special presentation from the Weld County Master Gardeners!The evening begins at 5 PM with a presentation from a Weld County Master Gardener from CSU Extension, followed by the Plant & Propagation Swap. As the growing season comes to a close, learn how to prepare your garden and lawn for the colder months, including best practices for protecting plants, managing this year's irrigation challenges, and caring for your indoor and outdoor plants through the fall.
After the presentation, bring your gardening questions, swap plants and cuttings with fellow plant lovers, and pick up plenty of inspiration to keep your green thumb growing until spring.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 & 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐩:
𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲:
Drop off your healthy, pest-free houseplants or cuttings at the front desk between September 18-22, during regular business hours.
Plants should be labeled with their type, common name, or care instructions if known (forms for labeling are available at the front desk that can be filled out)
Examples: "Spider Plant - Easy care, bright indirect light," "Monstera Cutting - Water until roots develop."

Feel free to bring your plants the day of the swap, too!
On the day of the event, browse and take home new houseplants to liven up your space.
Even if you don't have plants to swap, come and adopt a plant or two! (While supplies last)
Feel free to bring additional plants or accessories to share on the day of the swap!
