Join us in person for the Plant Bar Insect Pinning Workshop! Explore the art of insect pinning in a fun and cozy setting.
Here’s a breakdown of the workshop
Supplies you will receive in your take-home insect pinning kit
- closed-cell spreading board
- entomology pins
- Spreading paper (about 20 strips)
- 3 sets of tweezers to allow you to experiment with what works best
- Rehydration Chamber to relax your own specimens
- an instruction booklet typed up by yours truly
- one Madagascan Sunset Moth.
Through the class, I’ll share information about me, entomology, the specimen we will be working with, and more. I’ll guide everyone through how to pin, where to grab the wings, how to hydrate, and more.
