Join a short walk and workshop with Cut Moose and Islington Council to reflect on places which welcome older people across Islington.
About this Event

Share ideas on how parks, streets and buildings across the borough could better welcome and accommodate older people, and lessons learned from some of the existing places around the borough which already support healthy ageing.

Refreshments, £20 multi-brand gift cards, and accessible venue with step-free access and an accesible toilet are provided.

The workshop is open to people aged 55+ who live, study, work or access services in Islington, and will involve a short walk and a debrief converation with tea and biscuits. In case it rains, we will stay indoors.

Your input will inform new planning guidance for welcoming and accessible places across Islington.

The workshop runs as a part of a wider programme of engagement with all events signup available via Let's Talk Islington.

BSL interpretation, hearing loops, large font or translated materials, and taxi bookings are available to book on accessibility grounds.

A consent form re collecting, storing and using your feedback will be shared with participants prior to the event.

Spread the word, and see you there!
