On Thursday, November 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, we're opening the doors of the Bitz Opera Factory to Pittsburgh's business community for an evening most of our audience never gets to see. Here's what we have planned:
5:00 PM | Behind the curtain
Wander at your own pace with a drink in hand:
- Step into our costume shop and learn from Costume Director Jacob Currence how the costumes you see onstage are built, tailored, and mended by hand, right here in the Strip District.
- Head up to the catwalk for a rare view of the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra in rehearsal as they prepare for Orpheus & Eurydice
6:00 PM | A private performance
- You're invited into the Hahn Rehearsal Hall to hear a show-stopping performance by Pittsburgh Opera Resident Artists Logan Wagner, tenor, and Joseph Stephens, piano.
- Hear a few brief words from the Pittsburgh Opera team on the benefits of being one of our Corporate Partners.
6:30 PM | Stay and connect
- Continue your conversation with business leaders from across Pittsburgh over light bites, wine, and beer.
