Participants will be guided step-by-step through preparing needles, starting a coil, and shaping their basket using traditional methods. Along the way, you’ll explore design options such as decorative stitching, color accents, and finishing techniques that make each piece unique. No prior experience is needed- just a willingness to slow down, work with your hands, and connect with a craft rooted in nature and tradition.By the end of the class, you’ll leave with your own handcrafted basket and the skills to continue weaving at home. All materials are provided unless otherwise noted. Perfect for anyone interested in fiber arts, sustainability, or creative relaxation.
