About this Event
Piedmont Fibershed is excited to be opening a new weaving and textile mini-makerspace at The Plant, a local food, beverage, and entertainment destination in Pittsboro, North Carolina for those who seek quality, connection, and a touch of sparkle. At this event, we’ll celebrate and tour the new space, talk about the Community Outreach Residency we’re launching there, and have our annual Winter Gathering. It will be a cozy afternoon of crafting, storytelling, and community to celebrate winter.
You are invited to bring your own craft project, and we'll have a Show and Tell in which partipants are invited to share a recent project or a story about what fibers or textiles mean to them. We'll also provide updates on Piedmont Fibershed's projects and a preview of what's to come in 2027.
