Have you ever wanted to bake a pie? From scratch? How would it sound to learn these skills with the head chef of pastries and bread at Fox Point Farms... just in time for Thanksgiving?
Gather around the table because Chef Sierra is teaching you how to make a pie from crust to crumble.
In the Workshop...
- Learn how to roll and crimp pie dough
- Cut and peel apples
- Create an apple filling base
- Make your own crumble mixture
- Assemble a complete pie to take and bake at home.
Seasonal ingredients from our farm and other trusted growers will be amongst our ingredients ✨ Along with your pie, leave with an understanding of pie dough, seasonal fillings and flavor pairings, and how to assemble a pie. Chef Sierra will work alongside you and help you troubleshoot any tricky steps.
Enjoy a complimentary drink during the class and take home your pie and a recipe card to continue mastering pies at home. This workshop will take place on the North Terrace of Haven Farm + Table (facing the farm side). Feel free to take either staircases to get here.
