Meet the Artists Alexandra Vainshtein 4:00-8:00PM
" Notes on Hope", on display black and white photography by Alexandra Vainshtein.
Living in this cinematographic city and travelling the world have added to her intrinsic drive to capture little moments that make our life what it is. We are all different and see things differently, and it’s almost magical to show life through her lens in a way that you might have not expected.
Alexandra tends to mostly work in black and white, with color being a rare but bright exception. She hopes that the viewers will see the beauty and irony of the moments the way she sees them. She never really plans these moments, they come to her when she has her heart and eyes open and her camera ready. Alexandra hopes that we learn to cherish these small moments of human connection that in the Covid era may sometimes seem unattainable.
