Something special is starting on the grounds of Mia Art on Mine. Together with Moss & Medium, we're hosting the inauguration of an event I'm calling "Phoenix Rising" to be held on Sunday, October 18 from 3-8pm and I'd love for you to join us!In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, we will be celebrating survival, not only in the face of illness, but from the traumas and hardships we encounter. It's a celebration of life, nature, and community.
The event will include a variety of local artists, wellness practitioners, and live music. There will be live demos, group activities and handmade pieces for sale. While the vendors and music will end at 8pm, guests are free to lounge by the fire pits with lights out at 10pm.
Each live demonstration takes up to an hour. All ages are welcome!
Although this is an alcohol free event, guests are welcome to bring their own nonalcoholic beverages and food. There are plenty of delicious eateries along Stangl and Main Street.
"Phoenix Rising" is about moving forward together in strength and joy. Thank you for welcoming me in my journey, and I can't wait to welcome you onto the grounds of Mia Art on Mine for a beautiful night in downtown Flemington!
