The Philadelphia Folksong Society Musical Artists Cooperative is thrilled to present two dynamic bands at one of the area's best venues, the Steel City Coffeehouse and Brewery (203 Bridge St., Phoenixville, PA 19460) on Saturday, March 14th, from 7 pm - 9 pm. Matthew Gordon & Silvershade Scenery celebrate their latest release "WINTER BALL"! The Gene Smith Band has morphed into a unique, original band that cannot easily be categorized. With three songwriters, the band blends many styles and sounds that keep the audience engaged and the musicians happy. Chris Henderson on bass guitar is the anchor of the band with Dexter Myers on keys, guitar and vocals. The band is rounded out with Timothy Lee Chuvala on electric guitar and vocals, Jamie Polson on drums and Gene Smith on guitar, recorder, harmonica and vocals.
