About this Event
For the first time, magician and mentalist Peter Fabian brings his particular brand of magic and storytelling to the heart of San Antonio.
Equal parts Southern revival and last-call confessional, An Evening of Tall Tales is an intimate night of sleight of hand, mind-reading, and storytelling that wanders through the strange territory where magic and folklore meet.
Over the course of 75 minutes, cards are dealt, minds are read, and stories are stretched as Fabian draws from more than a decade spent performing across the country—and from the magicians, gamblers, liars, and tricksters encountered along the way.
Limited to just 50 guests, the experience trades the traditional theater for something considerably more intimate. There is no distant balcony and nowhere for the secrets to hide. You’ll be close enough to watch the cards fall, hear the dice tumble, and still wonder exactly where the truth ended and the story began.
The Setting
The evening unfolds underground at the Speakeasy at Devils River Distillery, tucked beneath the historic Burns Building in downtown San Antonio—a hideaway built for whiskey, conversation, and a little trouble after dark.
Come early. Have a drink. Settle in.
Then prepare for an evening of magic, mind-reading & tall tales.
