About this Event
In a world with AI, how can we ensure we don’t lose the skills to create meaningful professional relationships?
Following on from the Learn to Lead panel event on 3 November, this practical networking session will provide you with the skills to make effective introductions, ask questions that encourage genuine engagement and listen actively.
The evening will begin with a presentation from Associate Professor Michele Roberts of UNSW Business School and AGSM, before moving into structured speed networking rotations. Giving participants the opportunity to practise networking skills with a wide range of Perth-based UNSW alumni.
You can expect to:
- Learn practical techniques for effective networking
- Practise your elevator pitch and active listening skills
- Meet alumni from a range of industries and backgrounds
- Build genuine professional connections within the Perth UNSW community
- Enjoy drinks, canapés and relaxed open networking after the rotations
The evening will be hosted by UNSW Perth Alumni Committee President Chris Gawan-Taylor, Principal of Spinnaker Run, and Gabriella Martini, Managing Director of Aventa Solutions.
