Personalised Collage Baubles
Join painter Karen Harman, using collage and paints to create bespoke baubles for friends and family…or yourself! Cross another present off your Christmas list whilst learning about collage and crafting in a fun festive atmosphere.
This workshop will take you through the steps to design your own personalised baubles, from initial concept through to decoration. Theme around a person and you can add names and hobbies, animals or simply patterns to the baubles.
What you will take home
A great memory of a creative activity - and we aim to produce 3 collaged ceramic baubles during the workshop!
All materials will be supplied.
Who is it for?
Level: Beginner through to advanced level -anyone can do it!
About the Tutor
Karen E Harman is a Yorkshire based artist, born and raised near Haworth. She has painted all her life and has a degree in Illustration. She has taught Art & Design qualifications at University and FE and has 7 years qualified teaching experience. Her work spans murals (including the Craft House mural!), portraits, collage and digital illustration. However in the last two years she has concentrated on animal art, producing her trademark ‘side eye’ dog and cat portraits. She has exhibited at The Craft House, HEART cafe, Saltaire Festival, Ilkley Manor house and many other Yorkshire venues with the professional art group, Aire Valley Arts.
