About this Event
Join us at Sofia Vintage Motor Café for a practical, interactive Personal Finance 101 workshop - with a specialty drink from the café menu included with your ticket.
Personal finance is something most of us were never properly taught, in and out of school.
Your finances should feel empowering and fun, not overwhelming or stressful.
This session is designed to help you understand where you are today, build a system that works for you, and feel more confident about your future.
Over three hours, we’ll work through three areas with hands-on exercises. You’ll leave with:
- A clearer picture of your current finances
- A financial tracking template you can keep using
- A better understanding of Canadian registered accounts
- A practical introduction to investing
- Clear next steps to move forward with confidence
No prior finance or investing knowledge is required.
You may also be invited to receive a free 3-month subscription to Charlie, a personal fianance platform.
Hosted by Katya Berezovskaia at Sofia Vintage Motor Café. Katya previously worked at Goldman Sachs in London, UK in private equity and CPP Investments in public equities. Despite holding a Master's and a Bachelor in finance, our education system does not teach us personal finances - she wants to change this.
