Imagine a community where energy-efficient homes, renewable power, locally grown food, thriving natural spaces and strong neighbourhood connections are all part of everyday life.
Common Earth is developing a Resilient Village for up to 500 residents at a proposed site in the Ottawa area. The vision brings together Passive House design, renewable energy, local food, regenerative land stewardship and shared community spaces in a practical model for sustainable living.
The goal is to create a living demonstration that can inspire resilient communities across Canada and beyond.
