Iranian-born, Berlin-based comedian Sepideh Kaav — recently featured on ARTE, brings you 1979: Persianality Disorder, a dark comedy hour in English about growing up in a country that had rights but no options, and moving to Europe to chase the dream of becoming an average employee.
She grew up in the Middle East, spoiled by oil money and patriarchy. Her comedy is deadpan, political and completely unbothered by where the line is — mostly because she's already across it.
