Pediatric Vitiligo Support Group
The Pediatric Vitiligo Support Group is a new group that supports children ages 6 to 18 that have been diagnosed with vitiligo and their families and guardians.
What is Vitiligo?
Vitiligo is a skin condition that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks the cells and causes patches of skin to become a white or milky-white color. It can also affect the color of hair and the inside of the mouth.
When and where will the group meet?
This group will meet at the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford West Building quarterly on a Saturday morning. Each meeting will be 2 hours.
Venue: LPCH West Building First Floor room 1750
What are some topics talked about in this group?
Topics may include:
· Experience living with vitiligo
· Help for parenting a child with vitiligo
· New developments in vitiligo
· Crafts and activities

Yes, children ages 6-18 are welcome
