Our children are no longer just digital natives—they are AI natives. AI is an incredibly powerful and helpful tool, fit to increase our productivity, expand our knowledge reach, and even perform tasks on our behalf. It also poses a risk, especially to teenagers. A recent report by Common Sense Media outlined potential harm ranging from impaired learning to dependency and physical harm.
Families are called to be good stewards of these tools while also caring for their children, but often struggle to know how.
In this event, we are screening Lisa Tabb's new on AI use by teenagers, featuring testimonies from experts and children themselves. Good Morning America covered the movie's release here.
An expert panel will follow:
- Stanford Professor of Psychiatry, author of NYT bestseller , featured in Netflix’s documentary The Social Dilemma and mother of four.
- Head of AI & Digital Assessments at Common Sense Media, a leading nonprofit in tech use by children and families. Leads studies in AI usage, and testified before the US Senate. Also a father.
This event is open to the public. Our capacity is limited, so please register ahead.
