About this Event
Please join us for the first concert of the 2026-27 season, the 80th season of the Parkdale Orchestra!
Yes, we are the oldest symphony orchestra of Ottawa. We are located in the awesome Hintonburg neightbourhood where there's always something special going on.
Travel through time with us! We will start in 1923 when Ralph Vaughan Williams composed the English Folk Song suite. Then we make a short hop to 1930 to take in Paul Hindemith's Music fo Strings and Brass. Our next stop is in 1955 when Robert Farnon's A la Claire Fontaine was published. And we end in the present time by way of Nick Elliott's Cascades
