Join us for an incredible day of drumming at our Passport West all-day workshop in Asheville, NC, taught by Robin "Bountou" Leftwich of Happy Beat Drumming!
This workshop focuses on developing improvisational djembe solos by using traditional solos as a foundation. Students will learn practical techniques, common solo phrases, and approaches for creating their own musical ideas while building confidence through guided practice in a supportive learning environment.
The Passport series is designed to help drummers grow their skills, expand their rhythmic vocabulary, and enjoy making music with an amazing community of drummers. Whether this is your first class or your eighth, you'll leave with new ideas, new skills, and plenty of inspiration.
Throughout the day, we'll cover:

🥁 Improvisation concepts and solo development
🥁 And much more!
