Passenger’s journey began with intimate, community focused microclubbing events, built around a simple ethos: supporting the local electronic music scene, championing emerging talent and creating meaningful experiences through music. In just four years, that grassroots vision has grown into something much bigger, expanding into a 700-capacity micro-festival in the Highlands in 2024, followed by an island micro-festival on Arran in 2025.
Along the way, Passenger has continued to platform local artists and contribute to Glasgow’s underground scene, including selling out club nights at venues such as Cabaret Voltaire, featuring acclaimed Scottish techno producer Vince Watson.
Now, for its fourth birthday, Passenger takes its next step with a dedicated warehouse rave, headlined by Saytek, one of the leading names in live improvised electronic music. The event marks another milestone in Passenger’s evolution — from small-scale community gatherings to ambitious, distinctive events — while remaining rooted in the underground culture and local community that started it all.
